Meet Derrick and Alessandra, the duo behind GTA Transmission.
Derrick has spent over three decades working with transmissions—this is what he knows best. He’s a fully licensed 310D transmission technician who’s worked everywhere from small independent shops to big-name franchises. After years of seeing upsells, pressure tactics and poor workmanship, he knew there had to be a better way. Before opening GTA Transmission, he spent almost 15 years with AAMCO in Brampton, where he earned a reputation for doing the job right, with honesty, skill and consistency. His technical knowledge is the backbone of our shop.
Alessandra, with a background in administration and journalism, brings the structure and soul that keep things running smoothly up front. In 2014, the two of them opened GTA Transmission with a clear mission: to build a shop based on trust, transparency and care—the kind of place they’d want their own family to go to.

Hi, i brought my 2013 ford edge for a transmission repair at around 125k km. I'm at around 240 k km now and the only things that still work are the Power windows and transmission - that's it.

... it's an honest truth as I had many bad experiences with shops who didn't even touch my vehicle but charged me, I was trying to keep up with the transmission maintenance and every time I was just assured that work was done which in fact it wasn't and here I am without my work vehicle and crippled business, I wish I have found your shop years ago…
